Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Remastered will feature all 16 original maps

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare has some pretty amazing maps like Overgrown and Crash, but when Infinity Ward first announced the game they revealed that they only picked out 10 maps to remaster and that the rest wouldn't be included. Fans were pretty upset as they have to pay a minimum of $79.99 to even get the remaster so it should include everything from the original game. Infinity Ward took the feedback to heart and revealed today that every map from the game will be made available by December of 2016.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare multiplayer revealed

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare's multiplayer has been kept under wraps for many months now leading many to wonder what exactly they'll be playing for the next year as they wait for Sledgehamer Game's to release their next CoD. Today we got our first look in a brand new trailer that showcases fast paced action on a variety of distinct maps with a handful of weaponry and specialist characters to pick from. Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare gets multiplayer beta dates

Call of Duty used to rarely hold betas, but it seems after Black Ops 3 held one after release and it helped boost pre-orders and make the game a massive success that this could be a trend for future Call of Duty titles. Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare will be getting a multiplayer beta first on PS4 starting October 14th with an Xbox One beta to follow soon after. It seems however that Infinity Ward has opted to not hold an open beta test on PC. You can gain access to the beta by pre-ordering any version of the game. PS4 owners should also note that they will gain 30 days early access to Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Remastered's campaign which will begin in early October, so if you're considering pre-ordering you may want to take advantage of that.

The initial Infinite Warfare multiplayer reveal trailer was pretty fast paced and has a lot to take in. Instead of you freeze framing every frame of the trailer and trying to make sense of everything, Infinity Ward released an extensive 7 minute trailer that breaks everything down for you. The detailed look shows off a number of the weapons, combat rigs, maps, modes, and even teases the return of MW2's legendary 25 kill streak, the tactical nuke. Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare comes with a free PSVR experience

VR is taking off this year with several major companies such as Oculus and Sony launching their VR headsets in 2016. Call of Duty plans to take advantage of the technology by including a free PSVR experience in every PS4 copy of Infinite Warfare. The PSVR experience will allow players to take control of the new futuristic jet in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare labeled 'The Jackal'. The vehicle can be controlled at many different points throughout the game's campaign and is completely off-rails, allowing players full control. The vehicle can fly across planets at high speeds and also go directly into space whenever the player decides. The Jackal can be used as a mode of transportation but a weapon, you will have to use The Jackal to fight off other aircrafts in adrenaline filled dogfights. Of course, PSVR is required for this function so only a small number of people will be able to play this at launch but if you ever do acquire a headset you can play the dogfighting experience whenever you want. Please note that The Jackal can be used without PSVR, the experience is just an added functionality for PSVR owners.
